About This Project

Who:

The Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation raises funds through the generosity of donors for excellence in family centered child health programs, research and specialized life-saving equipment and advanced pediatric research and education

What we were asked to do:

  • We were asked to create a new website for ACH that would reflect and support their existing brand which was already strongly in place
  • They wanted a site that would teach people about the hospital and more importantly how the community could support them
  • They wanted to create a digital footprint that would encourage and accept more online donations, something they did not have previously

How we did it:

  • We worked collaboratively with the team from ACHF to make sure that not only were the data base needs being met but also the usability and functionality of the site
  • We made sure that we understood their brand, which is fun and whimsical, and adapt it into an online platform
  • Designing the website for the community to be able to get involved and donate was key and we worked with the team at ACHF to make that happen

What we did:

  • The site and online donation engine have produced millions of dollars of donations since its implementation, reaching an audience that they were not tapped into before
  • ACHF said that since launching they have received an enormous amount of positive feedback and online donations went from non-existant to markedly increased
  • The client felt that the website was a complete extension of their brand and philosophy and was delivered in a user-friendly way
